There has been a misconception,

between love and infatuation,

in this generation of teenagers,

what can be thought to be,

could only be intense feelings of attraction,

throwing love around,

labeling whats misguided,

I’m not scolding,

I’m not a parent but it’s apparent,

that more than one has gone through,

asking questions……..,

 ”where were you when I needed you?”,

because you say you love me,

but at times when love is required I don’t see you,

it’s as if the words that you spoke, 

were simply impulsive,

the reason why some females see men repulsive,

and why some boys end up broken-hearted,

my opinion is this,

that some people seem to forget,

commitment that’s honest and intimate,

so if you love them,

stay no matter what,

but if it’s just infatuation,

please don’t touch,

their heart in ways that it’ll break,

happy valentine’s day,

no cliche’.
